One of the things that inspires and drives me is my love for Exploring and Explorations. I have always been a “wanderer”: whether it’s the outer landscape or my inner world, I love to travel new places, re-visit old haunts and be in nature in particular to discover the beauty and treasures waiting for me.
But it doesn’t stop there. I explore who I am, who I want to be and how I want to live my life. I explore my inner voice, I explore expressing my voice on the page, the canvas or through speaking.
I can’t help but explore the world around me. I pay attention. I notice the details. I listen. I observe.
When I was a child I went 40% deaf in one ear. I would repeat what others had asked in the classroom, then got ridiculed for it, so I made the association it wasn’t “safe” to speak up anymore.
Instead I delved into the magic of my inner world and my imagination. It’s not that I never spoke again, it’s that I became someone who listened, and listened deeply to others. I observed and would see things that others wouldn’t.
It is now that I can look back and be grateful for these experiences because of the skills I have now honed. One of these skills is guiding and inspiring people to listen to their inner voice and create a more heart-centred life emanating from their true selves.
If you want to go on an exploration with me as your guide, then I offer workshops and one-to-one conversations from time to time where you can explore your vision, inner voice and heart in a safe space. For details and more information, please visit Explore With Me.
