From my A New Home, A New Landscape body of work, Stormy Over Winding Law is inspired by a set of eight trees at the top of one of the fields, which is called Winding Law, and watching the weather pass over them as I was walking through the fields.
This is the original monotype and is connected to Songbirds Startled By Buzzards, which is the “ghost print” of this image. They are the same view but inspired by different experiences.
