Autumnal Walk

Yesterday was a beautiful autumnal day. In the afternoon, as the sun was setting, Mum and I went for about an hour’s walk along a ‘country’ road and in the woods opposite the house. I took pictures with my smart-phone to document how lovely the light softly touched our surroundings. The colours of Autumn were out in full glory. It is my favourite time of year.

The sun was getting low – it was around four o’clock.

And finally, Mum spotted something in the grass and on closer inspection we found it was a ‘cabbage’ of mushrooms.
